St Marys Rugby League Club is committed to protecting the privacy of its members, guests, visitors and employees. The Club complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW).

 

The Club collects personal information including names, addresses, contact details, dates of birth, membership information, loyalty program activity and other information reasonably required to provide services, administer memberships, conduct promotions and communicate with members and guests.

 

Information may also be collected through the use of membership cards, loyalty systems, the Club website and the Saints RLC mobile application.

 

The Saints RLC App may collect information including membership details, loyalty activity, device information, app usage information and, where enabled by the user, location services data. This information is used to administer membership benefits, provide rewards and promotions, improve services and communicate Club information and offers. Location services can be disabled at any time through a user’s device settings.

 

The Club may use personal information for membership administration, service delivery, marketing, promotions, service development, regulatory compliance and business reporting. Individuals may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

 

The Club does not ordinarily disclose personal information to third parties unless required by law, authorised by the individual, necessary to protect the health or safety of an individual, or required to investigate suspected unlawful activity. The Club may share information with contractors and service providers engaged to provide services on its behalf, including technology, loyalty program, marketing and mailing service providers. These providers are required to maintain appropriate privacy and confidentiality protections.

 

The Club takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

 

For the safety and security of members, guests and employees, the Club operates closed circuit television (CCTV) throughout gaming and public areas of the Club.

 

The Club retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, administer memberships, meet legal obligations and fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy. When information is no longer required, the Club will take reasonable steps to securely destroy, delete or de-identify that information. Individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by contacting the Club. The Club may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business, regulatory or security purposes.

These include materials that are obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory and hurtful.
